Biography Beside

Indonesian Metal music group from Bandung which was born from mid-1997 in the middle of the quite famous East Bandung community in Indonesia "Homeless Crew" Ujung Berung. stafaband

Starting from a project band by playing hardcore music in his day from Rykers, Strife, Earth crsis and others .

The first single, Beside entitled "Wasted Youth" in 1998, entered the Aquarius Independent Rebel compilation. Not long after, Beside also dismantled and changed personnel, until finally 2000 - 2003 the beginning of vacuum and stopped all activities related to Beside.

Until finally in mid-2003, Beside came back with a new formation and new nuances, Beby, who was still at that time, Owang, Hin Hin, Fatah and Erik, to continue and revive Beside, who at that time was vacuuming.

But the formation did not last long, because Erik the bassist left before the Recording session, and the guitarist's Fatah resigned during the recording album "Against Ourselves". So the recording session for the album was continued by Hin Hin who filled all the guitar tracks.

Until finally Beside recruited a new guitarist from the Heaven Fall band, Ichad, to fill the void position of the guitar left by Fattah, until finally changing the personnel was a habit, even in late 2007 beside still changing personnel.

To go to the first album, Beside takes 10 years, because often they change the Pope, but they take a lot of positive sides because besides being able to meet new people who have diverse musical tastes ranging from Inflames, Soilwork, Dragonforce, Slayer, Malevolent Creations, Kataklysm and others.

In the end Beside gave a new color to their music. Metal may be a concept that is more suitable for the current side. With the current formation solid Owank (Vocal, Akew (Guitar), Paneu (Bass), Chad (Guitar) and Baby (Drum).

With this formation, Beside finally finished their first album with the title "Against Ourselves", which was released at the end of 2007 by the rebels (cassete) & absolute records (CD).

Personnel changes occurred again in mid-2011, the position of guitarist at that time Chad was replaced by Qq bokir after attending an audition session which took a very long time. 

In 2012 Akew, Paneu and Owank agreed to separate from the side, that was a very bad time for Beside's condition at the time, but not so long had all the vacancies filled up with new players. Izall replaced Paneu's position, Jepe (Additional Guitar) replaced the positions of Akew, Arind and Rangga (Additional Vocal) filling in the blanks of Owank. 

Then after a while Jepe was replaced by Roy Nat Siregar in the position that Guitar remained on Beside. Finally, BESIDE established its formation with the entry of Agrog in Vocal Position. And this story goes to Beside's latest album. Right on August 18, 2015, BESIDE released the latest album with the title "Eleven Heroes" dedicated to their hero, AACC victim and friend of Beside's friend, "Exterminator" who always supports every movement and development of Beside, waiting for the same 7 years for a work what we deserve to give to friends of AACC victims.

Until finally the album "Eleven Heroes" produced very satisfying results for them as musicians whose work can be enjoyed by many audiences with ratings from everyone who heard it, thanks to the hard work of all personnel to prove this latest album, Beside received an award in The Best category The 2015 best album of Rolling Stones version, and also included in the 10 best Indonesian band albums in the version of Metal Hammer UK magazine.
